Abergavenny Castle Events Feasibility Study
View the results of study here
A feasibility study to identify the potential for Abergavenny Castle events in both the Castle grounds and within the museum building was completed in September 2017. The study included community and business consultation to ensure that any events complemented rather than competed with the existing local offer and filled any gaps. The consultant developed an outline business plan, marketing strategy and event programme and identified local businesses that could be involved with events, eg food producers. The consultants also created a venue-specific event toolkit from existing toolkits.
The total project was £9,600 – with the RDP Leader funding contribution being £8,000.
