Renewable Energy at Community Level
Pen y Cae (off grid energy study)
The aim for this funding was to produce a costed feasibility study for an off-grid property which will become a small bothy-style centre for residential and day outdoor education activities. This application is a small, but crucially important, foundation stone of a much larger project. The timescale for feasibility study is expected to be in the region of two- three weeks starting from the agreement of funding. The building was previously used by a Bristol school and was powered by a diesel generator – hardly a sustainable way forward!
The study is now complete and the full report is available to download from the link above or below.
Total cost of project: £2,000.00 RDP Amount: £1,250.00
Project Start: March 2019
