Rogiet Community Shop & Cafe
The concise aim at this stage of the project is to prepare to implement a permanent Community Shop and Café in Rogiet and to ensure we meet all the community, legal and statutory requirements associated with the pre funding bid stages of providing a new build community shop and café.
By undertaking further research and piloting tasks we will prepare for and manage any risks associated with implementation of the community cafe and shop so that we can identify any deficiencies and seek solutions before applying for capital funding. This will then facilitate the procurement of the necessary resources (volunteers, local suppliers, trades, services, materials etc.) required for the construction and running of the Rogiet Community Cafe and Shop. By the end of the funding period we hope to have successfully applied to People and Places and be able to start the build on the identified land in Westway.
Total project cost: £46,218.00 RDP Amount: £32,020
